Very glad I gave this hack a second go with the new version. I also like all of the little touches in the menus, from the selected brother being the one at the top of the screen to them changing their overall color or expression to match your graphics or difficulty selection. I haven't gotten the chance to try Luigi, just the base Mario, but he's a great option to have. And the best part is that if you don't like those changes, you can choose the original sprites and still get the colorized experience. Some people (possibly Mega Drive / Genesis owners. They both better resemble the official art and help the new Mario sprite feel more cohesive with the experience. Donkey Kong Country was a fun and popular platformer for the SNES, but not everyone thought it was great.
What I also didn't realize was that Version 2 does a much more extensive job to re-draw the game's objects and enemies. Barrel-blast into a critically acclaimed Donkey Kong adventure as this beloved franchise makes its Nintendo Switch debut with a banana-bunch of new. I didn't notice it when the hack came out (even though the description mentions it, oops), but the Mario sprites were redrawn to make them more proportionate with the classic style sprite, and it looks much nicer than in Version 1. This is the EU version of the game and can be played using any of the Game Boy emulators available on our website. and despite what I thought I would do, I actually played on the new graphics mode, not the old graphics mode.
